We've made it tradition to spend Christmas Eve with my mom's cousin Ron and family. We always have such a good time together. So Tami dressed up Kyah and Memphis for the reading of Luke 2. It was so cute. They didn't leave the attire on very long but it was still fun.

That's right... frantically trying to finish Shauna's gift 3 days before Christmas.... Thank goodness for my boss and his wife. I got the idea from them, since they have one they made in their house. I was struggling to make the crackle paint look right, so after four tries... Troy and KaeLynne saved the day. We worked on it from 3 - 7. I was so happy to finally have it done and looking as good as it does. It was a great experience and hope to have one for our own house someday!!!!

For our ward Christmas party they asked people to bring red or green jello salads. I did both. :) Layer after layer...
I love making these salads. My sister got the recipe from a friend at work and anytime we are asked to bring something I do this. It's pretty and tastes DI-VINE!
So I took salads to the ward party and they had already put other peoples jellos out on the tables and people were actually trading theirs for mine when they saw it. :) Needless to say both were gone in a matter of minuets and I'd think it's safe to say they were a hit.

Found all my letters from High School and snail mail letters from Flagstaff and Utah. Remember when people used to do that... write real letters??? I thought I had thrown them away, but I am so glad I didn't! Good stuff!

That night he woke up in the middle of the night and saw it laying there and just kept saying "hat". So we wore it at 3 am watching cartoons.

Ok, this was from last night while we were downtown... but it gets two days!
My mom, Kristi, Stacey and Me got to attend the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert. If you ever have the chance to go... do it. This was my third time and it's always so amazing and uplifting.
This years guest was Natalie Cole... and blonde me just put together that she is Nat King Cole's daughter. Awesome, right? LOL!
The night ended walking through Temple Square and hot chocolate.
We missed Shauna being there. Maybe next year... ALL the girls can go! :)

Memphis loves this NC Ram. I saw this in the storage bin and just died laughing. She is such a little mother. At night her and I tuck a variety of things in for bed. Funny, sweet girl.

Mike's mom sent Memphis this dress and so...all day I kept telling her to say "thank you Grandma Smith" and she would say it, but then when I wanted to record it (so I could send it to her)... she wouldn't do it. Stinker!

The heat was out in our apartment, Mike was in ID... so I took the kids to Mc D's and let them play for over an hour. Great idea. When we got home they both went down for LONG naps. Happy MOM!

My kids love to eat bagels and cream cheese. Memphis says "dip it" and that is exactly what she does... Damien on the other hand "plays" in the cream cheese. Sick! It was everywhere. Good times!

Today we ate lunch at Sonic. While we were ordering this bird was walking around and I know you can't really tell from this picture... it was HUGE!!!!! That bird lives the high life hanging out at Sonic all day! It was cold and even though we wanted to sit out side... we ended up in the car. Also, they were out of fry sauce. I cry now. Ha ha!

So, I am in the food business and a lot of times it has some serious perks. We have this customer that makes awesome cake. This is the carrot cake he made special for me and Ruby with out raisins or nuts. For the record I prefer the chocolate over the carrot even with out the nasty stuff. The last time we went in, he was out and I wanted to cry. It's THAT good!

My cousin and I went to dinner and Memphis got to tag along. After we walked over to Ross and did a little shopping... but mostly just needed a place to keep gabbing. :) We spent a long while in the shoe section and Memphis had a hay day! She loves shoes and even loves walking around in them. It's pretty entertaining.
